When my boyfriend sent me another YouTube link, I as usual, questioned whether it was worth watching. The last time he insisted I watched something, it was Old Greg, and if you have watched that, you’d know why I question his judgment
However, reluctantly I agreed and watched the link for an episode of Britain’s Got Talent. The episode is of 47-year old Susan Boyle, a Scottish woman who looks much older. It’s obvious the audience is mocking her, as well as the judges before her performance. She’s kind of quirky, strange and talks about her cat Pebbles.
Much to everyone’s surprise, when Boyle begins to sing she is fantastic. Simon Cowell is absolutely floored, which I think most people know is rarity. Her singing voice is so unexpected that everyone is clearly shocked.

The sad part is though that we (including me) judged this woman based on her looks alone. No one thought she would be a promising singer because she didn’t look or act the part. It’s a shame Boyle didn’t recognize her talent sooner, because she probabaly could have had a singing career. But better late then never I guess.
Old Greg? Uh, kind of scary and I don’t mean his looks.
